Role Overview:
As a Spiritual Care Provider / Chaplain, you will visit seniors in their homes to offer spiritual guidance, listen to their concerns, and provide emotional support. Your empathetic presence fosters healing, resilience, and a sense of connection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct home visits to listen, counsel, and offer spiritual or religious support.
- Respect diverse beliefs, traditions, and cultural backgrounds.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address emotional and spiritual needs.
- Offer end-of-life support, grief counseling, and assistance with coping strategies.
Qualifications:
- Certification in chaplaincy or spiritual care preferred.
- Experience providing spiritual/emotional support to seniors or healthcare patients.
- Strong empathy, active listening, and communication skills.
