Role Overview:
We are looking for a Home Health Respiratory Therapist (RT) to assist seniors with chronic respiratory conditions. You will implement respiratory therapies, educate patients on breathing techniques, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal oxygenation and respiratory comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ respiratory function, recommending appropriate treatments.
- Provide oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and instruction on equipment use.
- Coach patients in breathing exercises and techniques for managing respiratory conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care plans.
- Track patient progress and make adjustments to therapies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Respiratory Therapist license.
- Experience working with geriatric patients or in home health preferred.
- Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills.
