Role Overview:
As a Pain Management Nurse (Home Health), you will assess patients’ pain levels, implement strategies to alleviate discomfort, and educate families on non-pharmacological interventions. Your expertise ensures that seniors can manage chronic pain effectively, maintaining dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate pain sources, intensity, and impact on daily functioning.
- Collaborate with physicians to adjust treatment plans and medications.
- Educate patients and caregivers on pain relief techniques, exercises, and relaxation methods.
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and modify interventions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse license in California.
- Experience in pain management, palliative care, or home health nursing.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and patient education skills.
