Role Overview:
As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you will play an essential role in assisting elderly clients with daily activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and emotional support. Your empathy, patience, and dedication will help ensure seniors can remain safely at home with confidence and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide mobility support and help with transfers as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Offer companionship, emotional reassurance, and a friendly presence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or related experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for in-home senior care, patience, and compassion.

What to Expect on the Job
On any given day, you may help with personal hygiene, mobility assistance, light meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship. You’ll work directly inside seniors’ homes across the LA area, often building lasting bonds with the families you serve. Schedules range from part-time and per-diem to full-time, with mornings, evenings, and weekend shifts available depending on client need.
