This event is designed to make preventive healthcare accessible to everyone in our community. Our team of certified ultrasound technicians and experienced medical professionals will provide high-quality, non-invasive screenings and personalized consultations. You will also have access to educational workshops focused on the benefits of ultrasound, early detection, and healthy living.
Ultrasound, also known as sonography, is a safe, non-invasive medical imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce real-time images of the inside of your body. Unlike X-rays or CT scans, ultrasound does not use ionizing radiation, making it a preferred diagnostic tool for people of all ages, including children and pregnant women.
During an ultrasound exam, a trained technician (sonographer) applies a special gel to your skin and moves a handheld device called a transducer over the area being examined. The transducer emits sound waves, which bounce off internal tissues and organs. These echoes are then captured and transformed into detailed images that doctors use to assess health and diagnose medical conditions.
At our community event, you can receive several different types of ultrasound screenings, depending on your needs and risk factors:
Preventive health screenings play a crucial role in catching conditions early—often before symptoms appear. Ultrasound can reveal hidden health problems such as:
Early detection allows for earlier intervention, more treatment options, and a greater chance for positive health outcomes. By participating in this event, you take a powerful step toward proactive health management for yourself and your family.
Our certified sonographers will conduct ultrasound exams using advanced, hospital-grade equipment. The process is quick, comfortable, and completely non-invasive. Depending on the type of screening, you may be asked to fast for a few hours or drink water beforehand—our team will provide clear instructions when you register.
After your screening, you’ll have the opportunity to review your results with one of NPMD’s experienced healthcare professionals. We’ll explain your ultrasound images, answer your questions, and provide recommendations for follow-up care or further evaluation if needed.
Throughout the day, join our interactive workshops led by medical experts. Topics will include:
Every attendee will receive a comprehensive resource kit packed with health information, preventive care checklists, tips for maintaining wellness, and contact details for local healthcare services.
