That’s why we’re thrilled to invite you to our Chair Yoga & Sound Meditation session—a nurturing experience designed specifically for seniors who want to improve their physical and mental well-being in a supportive, welcoming environment.
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that adapts traditional yoga poses so they can be performed while seated in a chair or using a chair for support while standing. This makes yoga accessible to people who may have difficulty with balance, limited mobility, or conditions that make getting up and down from the floor challenging.

Following our chair yoga session, you’ll be treated to a deeply relaxing sound meditation experience. Sound meditation, also known as sound healing or sound bath, uses various instruments—such as singing bowls, chimes, and gentle percussion—to create soothing vibrations that promote deep relaxation and healing.
During the sound meditation portion of our event, you’ll simply sit back, close your eyes, and allow the beautiful sounds to wash over you. There’s nothing you need to do except be present and receive the healing vibrations. Many participants describe the experience as profoundly peaceful, often feeling as though they’ve had a full night’s rest in just 30 minutes.

When you arrive at our beautiful venue at 16101 Ventura Blvd in Encino, you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff and volunteers who will help you get settled in comfortably. We provide sturdy, comfortable chairs specifically chosen for stability and support during yoga practice.
The session begins with a brief introduction and check-in, where our instructor will ask about any specific concerns or areas you’d like to focus on. We want to ensure that every participant feels seen, heard, and cared for throughout the experience.

Following a short break with refreshments, we’ll transition into the 30-minute sound meditation. You’ll remain comfortably seated as our sound healing practitioner creates a symphony of soothing tones designed to guide you into deep relaxation.
