Role Overview:

As Senior Tech Support Coordinator, you will help older adults learn to use smartphones, tablets, video calls, telehealth apps, and online benefits portals. You will lead one-on-one tech tutoring, group workshops, and a phone helpline — making the digital world accessible to LA seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one tech support to seniors in homes and senior centers
  • Lead group workshops on smartphones, tablets, video calls, telehealth apps, and online portals
  • Operate a tech-help phone line for seniors with daily questions
  • Train and supervise volunteer tech tutors
  • Develop bilingual training materials (Spanish, Korean, Mandarin, Armenian, etc.)
  • Partner with libraries, senior centers, and ISPs on digital-inclusion programs

Qualifications:

  • Strong patience and teaching skills with senior populations
  • Comfort with iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, video-call platforms, telehealth apps
  • Bilingual ability strongly preferred (Spanish, Korean, Mandarin, Armenian, or other LA-area languages)
  • 1+ years working with seniors, education, or tech support
  • High school diploma; bachelor’s preferred
