Private Caregiver

Job Summary

We are looking for compassionate and dependable Private Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide vital in-home support to seniors, assisting with daily activities and promoting their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed.

• • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.

• • Offer companionship through conversation, reading, games, or other enriching activities.

• • Support clients with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques to ensure safety.

• • Monitor clients’ health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the care team.

• • Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or social outings as required.

• • Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.

Qualifications

• • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic personality.

• • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy character.

• • Ability to work independently and remain calm in emergencies.

• • Physical capability to assist with mobility, transfers, and light lifting.

• • Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

• • CPR and first aid certification is a plus.

• • Knowledge of dementia or Alzheimer’s care techniques is advantageous.

• • Strong communication skills and a positive, uplifting attitude.

Work Environment

• • Deliver one-on-one care in clients’ homes.

• • Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
