Role Overview:
We are looking for a Personal Care Aide (PCA) who will assist seniors with daily tasks, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. This role is crucial to ensuring that elderly clients receive personalized care, allowing them to remain at home with dignity and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help with personal care activities like grooming, dressing, and basic hygiene.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and dietary considerations.
- Support clients with light housekeeping and organizational tasks.
- Offer companionship, engaging in meaningful conversation and activities.
- Report any changes in client condition to the care team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience caring for the elderly preferred.
- Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to perform light physical tasks and assist with transfers.
