Role Overview:
As a Mobile Audiologist, you will conduct hearing evaluations, fit hearing aids, and counsel patients on proper maintenance. Your expertise ensures seniors can enjoy improved hearing, reduced isolation, and better overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hearing assessments, identify hearing loss levels, and recommend solutions.
- Fit, adjust, and maintain hearing aids or assistive listening devices.
- Educate patients and caregivers on device use, troubleshooting, and follow-up care.
- Document findings and collaborate with healthcare teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) and California licensure.
- Experience with geriatric patients or home-based audiology services preferred.
- Strong patient education, communication, and empathy skills.
