Role Overview:
We seek a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial in directly supporting our senior clients, ensuring their medical needs are met with care and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with medical procedures, managing patient records, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with medical procedures and examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Collect and record patient information, including vital signs and medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
- Provide information and education to seniors and their families about medical procedures and treatments.
- Maintain and update patient records in our database system.
- Ensure all medical equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to manage patient care plans.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical supplies.
- Foster a supportive and empathetic environment for seniors.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree or certification in medical assisting is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Passion for helping others, especially the elderly community.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
