Role Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver will provide non-medical assistance and support to seniors in their daily lives, helping them maintain independence and dignity. This role is ideal for an empathetic individual committed to improving seniors’ quality of life through attentive and personalized care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist seniors with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Help with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring nutritional intake.
  • Assist with mobility and transportation, including driving seniors to appointments and running errands.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the senior’s physical or emotional condition to the appropriate healthcare professional.
  • Provide medication reminders and ensure that the senior follows prescribed routines.
  • Support seniors in maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Offer emotional support and be a comforting presence in the lives of seniors.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with best practices in senior care.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in caregiving or a related field, preferably with seniors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on compassionate care.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of basic care techniques and safety practices.
  • Patience, empathy, and a deep commitment to serving seniors.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
