Role Overview:
As a Physical Therapy Assistant (Home Health PTA), you will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to implement exercises, monitor patient progress, and encourage seniors to reach their functional goals. Your supportive guidance fosters confidence and motivation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with exercise programs, mobility training, and therapeutic activities.
- Observe and report patient responses to the Physical Therapist.
- Document treatments, changes, and improvements in patient function.
- Educate families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques.
Qualifications:
- Valid PTA license or certification in California.
- Experience working with geriatric patients or in home health settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, motivational, and observation skills.
